SafePlans recently completed a major update to our tactical site mapping module in ERIP.
This site mapping revision was designed with two overarching goals:
- Help public safety agencies respond faster by providing secure access to building information. This is especially important in active-shooter type incidents.
- Make it easier for our clients to self-map their facilities.
We nailed it!
The new navigation interface maximizes screen real estate while making it faster and easier to search and locate critical information. People love our tactical grids, so we added the ability to instantly add a tactical grid to any aerial photo or floor plan. This works great in the PDF Guidebook; which takes all of your interactive site mapping data in ERIP and turns it into a downloadable and printable PDF file.
Our Self Mapping Wizard makes it even easier to upload and configure site mapping for your facilities. Just answer some simple questions and you are on your way to sharing life-saving information. We realize site-mapping an entire facility can seem daunting and you do not have to complete all mapping at once. Just set the facility up in the Wizard you can go back and add information or layers anytime!
This update has been delivered at no additional charge to thousands of clients. Clients can access help resources in ERIP or contact our tech support anytime.
