Leavenworth USD 453 Partners with SafePlans for Active Shooter Training

We are proud to welcome Leavenworth Unified School District 453 to the SafePlans’ Family. Earlier this month, SafePlans visited their district to conduct AlerT active shooter response training.

Leavenworth USD 453 is AlerT!

The training – founded upon the concept and value of situational awareness, empowered Fort Leavenworth staff to assess their surroundings and situation in order to determine the best course of action – lockdown, evade, or resist.

Additionally, their staff were taught some of the signs and behaviors one can identify to prevent or mitigate an attack, and learned methods for assessing and responding to these behaviors

AlerT, as the name implies, emphasizes the value of situational awareness.
